In line with Government guidelines for safe working during the COVID pandemic, access to our office is strictly by a pre-arranged appointment only, and only where absolutely necessary. We are open for business with some staff working in the office and others from home, they can still be contacted in the usual way either by telephone or email.

In respect of your pre-arranged appointment, if you develop symptoms of COVID, or have in the last 14 days come into contact with someone with COVID or symptoms of, we ask that you contact the office by telephone/email to arrange a new appointment or discuss if there is an appropriate alternative to your meeting.

The safety of our staff and clients is of paramount importance to us and so thank you for your continued co-operation during these unprecedented times.

Helen qualified as a solicitor in 1996 having completed her training at a large commercial firm in Birmingham. She originally practised in commercial property but shortly after qualifying decided that she wanted to be a private client lawyer and since then has specialised in this area. She has a wealth of experience in wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney and estate planning.

Helen advises on wills, including the use of trusts to protect assets passing down the generations of a family and to protect vulnerable beneficiaries. She can advise on inheritance tax, estate planning and has extensive experience of acting in high value and complex estate administration. She can also advise on agricultural and business property relief claims.

Building long term relationships with her clients is very important to Helen and she is committed to working closely with them, their accountants and financial advisers to give holistic planning advice; often acting for different generations of the same family, clients praise Helen for her professionalism, attention to detail and empathetic approach.

Helen is a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society and she is also a Dementia Friend.  In addition she has also completed bereavement training which can help with assisting clients at a difficult time.

Out of work, Helen enjoys spending time with her family and likes nothing better than a good walk in the Warwickshire countryside near to where she lives. She also loves all forms of dance, singing (having been members of choirs in the past) and the theatre.
